Joy is a devoted grief therapist and author whose heartfelt guidance in both her counseling sessions and writing helps individuals embrace tough conversations, navigate loss, and discover compassion, meaning, and hope—even in life’s darkest moments.

Joy’s practice and writing are united by a heartfelt mission “to walk alongside people in their grief”. She emphasizes creating space for clients to express fear, hope, love, regrets, and unspoken truths.

In her first book, My Gift to You, Joy invites readers into deep, meaningful conversations with loved ones—whether facing the end of life or simply to strengthen connections in the here and now. Catherine Craig

Catherine is a mental health and yoga therapist who believes that we live with the most ease and flow when we connect with our True Selves. She understands that toxic stress, outdated patterns, and childhood pain can keep us from being fully present. At Wellbeing Counseling and Yoga Therapy, Catherine offers a compassionate and integrative approach, bringing humor, intention, and a never-ending supply of curiosity. She specializes in practices that help regulate the nervous system and support realignment with who we truly are—so that we can live more fully, more joyfully, more freely.

Shawano “Southern Thunder”

Shawano, a member of the Kickapoo Tribe in Kansas, is a Certified Therapeutic Art Practitioner with a deep passion for helping others heal and grow through the power of creativity. With a heart-centered approach and a belief that everyone is an artist and has a story to tell, she guides individuals on a journey of self-discovery and emotional expression using the language of art.

Through her sessions, Shawano teaches people how to process and release complex emotions—grief, trauma, joy, and everything in between—by transforming  them into visual stories. Her work is rooted in the understanding that art speaks where words fall short, offering a safe and non-verbal outlet for what lives within us.

As she beautifully puts it:

“If you share your intimate story on a canvas, you will release it from your body in a language no one can read; your secret is safe, but you no longer have to carry it.”

With compassion and creativity, Shawano empowers others to reclaim their inner voice, reconnect with their authentic self, and find peace through personal expression.

Angela has been active her whole life through dance, soccer, coaching, and being a certified group fitness instructor. After the birth of her first son, she began having issues with her back, which eventually led her to have back surgery. Afterwards, continued issues led her to yoga.

She has had a total hip replacement in both hips following years of dance, sport and hypermobility. While she knows she will always have issues with her back and hip joints, yoga is a practice that is always changing and adapting to her needs. Angela fell in love with yoga because it is a challenge but one that is kinder on the body. The mind-body component helps her to accept some of the physical limitations, but also find many ways to challenge herself physically and mentally.

Sarah Craig Swope

Sarah Craig Swope is a certified yoga instructor and lifelong student of the practice, with a deep passion for supporting others on their path to healing and self-awareness. Drawing on decades of personal experience, she combines gentle yoga and somatic breathwork to help regulate the nervous system, calm the mind, and reconnect the body with its innate wisdom.

Sarah believes in creating a nurturing, non-judgmental space where students of all levels can explore mindful movement, breath, and stillness. Her approach is trauma-informed, deeply grounding, and centered around the belief that healing happens when we learn to listen inward with compassion.

Whether you’re navigating stress, seeking greater balance, or simply looking for a more intentional way of being, Sarah’s classes offer a gentle and powerful invitation to slow down, soften, and come home to yourself.
